Public Elevator Speech: Do culture and science agree that climate change is affecting our communities? This project will expand the use of the G-WOW climate literacy model which engages people in climate resiliency behaviors by revealing how climate change is impacting the sustainability of species and habitats that support cultural and economic practices through the integration of place-based evidence with science. The G-WOW model applies traditional ecological knowledge of the Lake Superior Ojibwe Indians as long-term place-based indicators of climate impacts, this project will test its applicability to people of all cultures.
